Welding Services Now Available

Uniserve is pleased to announce the addition of welding to its wide array of services. Count on our skilled professionals for such tasks as building steel racks and shelving units.

April and May News Update

New Certification Helps Ensure Safety

In April, members of the Sparkle Services crew became certified in the operation of fork lifts, boom lifts and other warehouse equipment. Training and certification were provided by Maybury Material Handling of East Longmeadow, MA. This was a great opportunity for employees to enhance their skills in working with heavy machinery, thus ensuring their safety.

Enfield Clean Sweep

Sparkle Services was proud to participate in the Enfield Clean Sweep on Saturday, April 17. Members of the community banded together to help clean up areas of Enfield that had become littered with trash and/or other debris. Many businesses, youth groups, sports teams and families took part in this special effort to make Enfield a more beautiful place to live, work and visit. Thank you to everyone who participated!

Cans for Kids Gains Support

Sparkle Receives Diversity Award

In February, Sparkle Services was named one of the Top 50 Diversity Owned Businesses in Connecticut. The award was presented by DiversityBusiness.com, a web company established to support and promote multicultural businesses. In the announcement, Sparkle Services was described as “one of the top entrepreneurs in the country… most deserving of this award and recognition.”
    As a recipient of this award, Sparkle Services has been invited to participate in the 10th Annual National Business Awards Ceremony and Conference in Washington, D.C. this April. The event brings together America’s top business owners and Fortune 500 companies for promoting multicultural business opportunities.
     Staff members at Sparkle are proud of this achievement. “We are an equal opportunity employer and have always striven to embrace the ethnic background of our employees,” says President Jeff Tingley. “This recognition is testimony of our success.”

January News Update

2009 Year in Review

The Sparkle/ Uniserve companies ended 2009 with a 22% increase in sales over 2008. This was especially difficult to accomplish in our current economic environment. Our commitment to our customer and the reputation of quality services allowed us to improve our sales position and I thank every member of our company for the service they provide every day!
     We are excited to embrace the use of new equipment that will only improve quality and efficiencies. Specifically, new innovations have come to the market that we have begun to employ. We are already seeing improved results and efficiency which our customers welcome in these times.
    We must and will always look for ways to better serve our customers, being sure that we look for details of combined success.
